#79 Production: Designing the Look

Hey everyone! Today I’m talking about our poster, which Ethan designed.

For the poster, we knew from the beginning that blue had to be the main color. The Hollow Man wears a dark blue hoodie in the film, so using blue helped tie the poster directly to the character. Ethan designed the layout, and I helped add the information and make sure everything looked clean and dramatic.

The mask is the center of the poster because it’s the biggest symbol in both trailers. It shows up constantly, so making it the main focus just made sense. We added fog, shadows, and darker tones to make the poster feel intimidating but still eye‑catching.

We used the font “Part” for the word Hollow because it looked bold and professional. The quote “He never left the fire” represents how the Hollow Man is still tied to the chaos he created; he never moved on, and he’s still causing destruction.

At the bottom, we included:

    - the production company

    - starring actors

    - director

    - editor

    - writer

    - release date
